Disher is Co-Hosting a FREE Event “The Story of a Part”
Disher is partnering with Lakeshore Advantage and OMT-Veyhl to host a fun, free engineering event for students.

+ Want to learn about what engineers do on a day-to-day basis?
+ Interested in exploring an engineering career in West Michigan?
Join us for a fun, FREE engineering event for students hosted by the Michigan SmartCoast. This event, called “The Story of a Part,” walks you through how an idea goes from a napkin sketch to a real part (and yes, you get a real part at the end of it!).
A set of short workshops will cover sketching, CAD demos, and machine programming, as well as a factory tour at OMT Veyhl USA Corp, a state-of-the-art company in Holland, MI. There will also be engineers from local companies for students to connect with, job shadow sign-up sheets for Disher and other companies, and lots of opportunities to learn more about engineering!
Attendees will receive a free t-shirt, some good food, and a cool souvenir courtesy of OMT Veyhl. We look forward to you joining us as we explore engineering in West Michigan.

Disher Design, Lakeshore Advantage, and several Ottawa County companies helped start this initiative called “Michigan SmartCoast.” The goal of Michigan SmartCoast is to get students and practicing engineers excited about engineering in West Michigan.
